I've finally submitted to using FileZilla to transfer files onto my site web hosting provider. I've lifted the video file from the left local site over to the right remote site. However, there doesn't seem to be any indication of it actually uploading, so how am I supposed to know? There is only a red light flashing light in the bottom right hand corner. Also, can I transfer several files at once, and how do i know when they are completed???

We need a web host that will allow us to post our videos in 720p hd every week, and have those videos findable only on our site (for the most part, obviously i cant stop pirates)Youtube will not work for us. This is a test run to see if I want to use the site permanently or not, so I don't want to pay for hosting yet. So I need a site that works good and does not charge for hosting. Please note:I am using iWeb to design my site and I do not have a MobileMe account, nor am I interested in paying for one.I already tried 000webhost.com and it did not work. They provided me with zero customer service and ignored multiple emails from me. So, not them.I purchased the domain name through godaddy.com and will probably use their hosting services if I decide to keep the site and want to upgrade.I would like to be able to have pictures, and embedded videos on the site. So I don't necessarily need tons of space right now.

I would like to see this be made illegal to post on the web and the ones who upload this crap to be prosecuted. This type of media is showing a lack of respect for the family members of the victims.

Hey guys,So I'm *planning* on starting up a video sharing website and I have a question relating to bandwidth. Being it that the intended website will allow users to upload videos to my site, I'm going to need something with a LOT of storage space (several terabytes). Having reviewed my options, I've figured that going with my own server is probably the most cost effective solution, especially given that I know people with the expertise to set such a thing up. After finding a suitable business internet connection with my local ISP on which to host my server, I came to note that they offered a Monthly Data Transfer Rate Limit of 200GB. Of course, I understand that if *I* download/upload files from/to the web, I will be using up a portion of that 200GB, BUT what I want to know is whether said 200GB is used when my customers upload videos to my site / view it. 200GB for a single person is a lot of space, but for a website that intends to have heavy traffic and a lot of video viewing and uploading, it seems quite limited.Is Monthly Data Transfer Rate Limit from my ISP essentially the same thing as Monthly Bandwidth with a web hoster? I am looking for suggestions on the best Content Management Software (CMS) on the market and the more cost-effective softwares, that are incredibly straightforward and user friendly. I have experience in HTML/php and can build a website without many problems. I am looking to build a website that would host videos. I would like to be able to post content on pre-designed pages (that have already been made by others and me) without having to learning a variety of new and complex code to be able to format the video on the page. I have been trying to learn how to do this the hard way and as a college student I do not have enough time to learn all this new complex code. So I'd like a, to put it bluntly, idiot-proof software that will do this for me. This can be as simple as possible, as others with limited experience in coding or web-design will be updating the site.
