Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole is being sued for defamation and libel by Kay Hagan, her Democratic Senate challenger, for broadcasting a television ad which, in the words of Hagan's legal action, "falsely implies" that Hagan shares the views of an entity that calls itself the Godless Americans PAC.Dole's attack stems from Hagan attending a Sept. 15 Boston fundraiser which was co-hosted by Woody Kaplan who sits on the advisory board of the Godless Americans PAC.The most inflammatory and misleading part of Dole's television ad comes at the end when Hagan's photo is coupled with audio of a female voice saying, "There is no God." The effect is to make it seem like it is Hagan's voice when, in fact, it belongs to Ellen Johnson, the executive director of the Godless Americans PAC.Hagan is a Presbyterian church elder. She responded with an ad Thursday in which she forcefully declares her faith in God.Dole is one of nine incumbent Republican senators who is in a tough fight for re-election.ABCNEWS.com first reported on the "Godless" attack when the NRSC made it the subject of a web video earlier this month .Lately, it seems like the only good Christians have been democrats. Just look at our presidential choices. John McCain divorced his first wife after she had been in a car accident and endured 23 operations. When McCain left his first wife, she was wheelchair-bound, unemployed and on disability. Three weeks later he married his current wife, Cindy McCain. During his marriage, it has been reported that he has had multiple affairs with multiple women. He also permitted his mother and Cindy sue his first wife for certain material possessions. Can you imagine that??Clearly John McCain does not have good Christian values and he certainly does not value families! And this notion of country first and family second.....I don't believe it for one many. Maybe at one time McCain put his country first, but he certainly became a deserter when he returned home. And then there is Barack Obama. A married man with two little girls. Obama is a good and faithful husband and a very loving father. Additionally, I just heard that he was endorsed by the ASPCA and recently adopted a homeless little dog from a local animal shelter as a surprise for his daughters.Mark FoleyU.S. Representative(September 28, 2006)The Crime: Sending sexually laced, gramatically challenged instant messages and e-mails to teenaged boys in the Congressional page program for more than 10 years. The Hypocrisy: Chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children. The other young man woke up in the middle of the night to find Murphy giving him mouth-to-penis resuscitation. After this incident, a 1998 sexual battery report came to light in which Murphy was alleged to have done the exact same thing. The Hypocrisy: Murphy was a well-paid political consultant for Republican candidates and often advised them to use gay marriage as a wedge issue to paint their opponents as out of touch with traditional values. The Quote: “I was in the Sound of Music in High School…don’t ask” (from his now-defunct Myspace page.)

How can republican Senator Elizabeth Dole judge the Christianity of her democratic opponent in NC?
With this statement: Recently the talk show host, Ellen Degeneres, has been using her resources as a celebrity to voice her avocations in supporting gay marriages. While doing this she has also criticized and falsified those supporting the sacredness of marriage, and those putting effort into protecting the definition of marriage to be only between one man and one woman. Some of Ellen's recent actions to discourage supporters of Proposition 8 have been her public announcement stating that those supporting Proposition 8 are twisting the truth and using scare tactics. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cd_ai2LrgJ0Her appearance on Jay Leno where she suggests the money go to a better cause, and that Proposition 8 promotes hate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VfmqYH9h7MAgain, she announced on her show her opinions regarding these issues and attacked Governor Palin for being in favor of banning gay marriage. Also stating that gay marriages won't effect or influence children.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsawEXt7e4UOn her web site she now has posted an article attacking those raising funds to support Proposition 8 specifically saying to Mormon's (and other Christian groups) what business is it of ours."Social conservatives and various religious groups, including a massive influx of money from the Mormon Church in Utah, are campaigning heavily for Prop 8 to pass. One wonders what business it is of theirs. Marriage has its public side, but given the sharp decline in marriage since the Seventies, what precious institution are they protecting?"http://ellen.warnerbros.com/2008/10/gay_marriage_and_the_democrati.phpHere is a great comment from one of Ellen's reader boards from a member of the gay community who knows and points out some very good consequences if churches are forced to recognize gay marriage. I am a lesbian, and I don't agree with Ellen at all, marriage is between a MAN AND A WOMAN PERIOD, just because i am a lesbian doesn't mean that I get to ram my feelings and beliefs or preferences down the throats of all the other Americans. , there are ways to make sure that the gay and lesbian community get to have their rights without infringing on others rights, I think Ellen and the gay and lesbian community needs to try to get with their congressional supporters and enact a law or amendment that would be called the parriage act, ( a pair of the same, in other words two men , or two women = a pair thus a parriage), and that will give the gay and lesbian community the rights they want without changing the definition of marriage. Why is the definition of marriage important to remain unchanged, well because if the definition of marriage gets changed to include two men or two women , then that will in essence violate the rights of any churches , and all people that do not believe that gays should marry, and IT WILL TURN THE BIBLE INTO A BOOK OF HATE AND CHURCHES INTO PLACES OF HATE CRIMES, because the bible states that men are to be with women, and I for one know that the bible is not an instrument of hate , nor are most churches. SO AS A LESBIAN i DO NOT AND CANNOT SUPPORT GAY "MARRIAGE " BUT WOULD SUPPORT SOMETHING LIKE A PAIRRIAGE ACT , THAT DEFINES A PARRIAGE AS A UNION BETWEEN TWO MEN OR TWO WOMEN with the same rights as a marriageEverybody that thinks that a yes vote on prop 8 is discrimination on the homosexual community, well it's not , it's discrimination on ALL OTHER PEOPLE IN SOCIETY, can you imagine the lawsuits if a church tells a homosexual couple that they will not marry them. It will happen thats why i am a lesbian and cannot support this prop. There is no reason that a church should be forced to marry a homosexual couple by the law, that is dicrimination. vote yes on prop 8 and try to get legislation enacted for a parriage act, that would be defined as a parriage between 2 men or 2 women. Everybody would then have the rights that they want without causing churches to become hate groups and the bible to become an instrument of hate. After all if you think it is not fair that you can't marry the one you love then you should also think it unfair that a church or christian group should have to perform a marriage that is fundamentally wrong to them. That would be the equivalent to someone passing a law that says I cannot be a lesbian and force me to marry a man. Theres more to the whole gay marriage issue than just the fact that homosexuals want to marry the one they love, lots more issues. The purpose of this, and what I am suggesting is that Ellen has a large audience of housewives; women who are home during the day to watch her show. If those who believe in the sanctity of marriage between a man and women are endorsing her show, then it is giving her more power to sway against that union we hold to be sacred. It might be time to reconsider what she stands for, and if it really coincides with what you know to be true. Ya, I never said I was the lezbo. I quoted one. Good job on reading!

Christians supporting California Proposition 8, marriage between a man and a woman, would you agree..?
What do you consider cheating? I am a Christian and I believe even an emotional affair is detrimental to a relationship. My husband has continually lied to me about things that if he were to tell me straight out I would have been mad but would have respected him because he told me the truth. But now in the last 8 months he has continually lied to me about going to porn websites after I nicely and respectfully asked him not to do so, and has actually wrote "Hey nice video" to a girl who hosts a webcam thing.I'm not asking this to people who take relationships lightly. I took my vows serious when I got married and am extremely hurt about this. I am different when it comes to being loyal, lies realy upset me and I want to know your opinions..Thank you all for your point of view, I found some of the answers a little heartless and some well...just plain bizzare. The man who wrote "just read the Bible, know who your master is and let your Husband have fun" something like that, I would comment on that but I think its speaks for itself. But for the most part I had a hard time choosing the best answer so I am extending my question and would like to thank the people who cared enough to write a honest answer that comforted and helped me understand what my Husband might be going through.

My husband watched a web cam girl and commented to her is that cheating?
Looking for a good Christian web host that is cheap and reliable. Need about 50mb space. Can anyone recommend one?

Can anyone recommend a good Christian Web Host?
Hello, We are a couple of people from Denmark who are working on a new video site witch of cause will be different from all other. :-)We are interested in identifying the right web hosting service that will meet our needs. Our needs are:-Our site will be hosting approximately 50GB of video material, where each video will be about 30MB.-When launching our PR campaign (Techcrunch, Mashable, and sites alike) we hope for something like 100.000 visitors watching the same video over a period of 24 hours. We wish :-)-So something like 1.000 visitors should be able view the same video at the same time without delay.-We do not have any need for top security.-We do expect a service with a high % uptime.-We are on a tight budget, so it can’t be real expensive.Witch web hosting services should we consider?Cheers, Christian.

Four Surprising FactsRevealed in The Face Behind the Veil* American Muslim Women Are Among the Most Diverse inthe WorldAmerican Muslim Women hail from 77 countries.Indeed, most are not Arabs, but South Asians. Many areAfrican Americans tracing their ancestry to Muslimslaves brought to America by the slave traders. Agrowing number of Anglos and Hispanic women arefinding their spiritual home in Islam. Muslim womenare also diverse in how they practice their faith:Many do not wear the hijab, for example.* Muslim Women in America Are Not DowntroddenMost Muslim women profiled in the book havecollege educations and work outside the home. Onestudy shows that Muslim families have an averagehousehold income of $75,000, making them among themost affluent in America. For the most part, Muslimwomen here are not the downtrodden who are seen onnightly newscasts in Europe or Third World countries. The women profiled in the book say Islam promoteslearning and that is why so many Muslim women areeducated. Even Muslim refugee women, denied aneducation, are eager to learn once in America. Andthey make sure their children have the education theydidn't have.* America has influenced Islam -- and Muslim women.America's Islam is not Europe's, South Asia'sor the Middle East's. Many American mosques havebecome a gathering place, from hosting Brownie troopsto Weight Watchers. Many Christians who converted toIslam, particularly African Americans, hold religiousclasses and services on Sunday, even though they stillgo to Islam's traditional Friday prayers. America'sinfluence is also why there is such a fight for equaltreatment in the mosques here. While some women, suchas in Pakistan and other South Asia countries are usedto not going to religious services, American womenaren't. They want the same facilities, the sametreatment in the mosque as men receive.* Technology has helped spread Islam across AmericaAmerican Muslims have used the Internet tostrengthen their faith. Muslim women can now buywhatever hijab or gowns they want on the Internet. Orthey can chat online why they chose not to wear anysort of scarf. They can find a mate on a matchmakingwebsite. They can study the Quran on the web or joinMuslim groups. Although they may be the only Muslimfamily in Smallville, they are only a click away fromfinding other Muslims like themselves throughout theUnited States.http://www.facebehindtheveil.com/book.htmlI love the compassion that many of the people that answered have for their fellow human beings.Makes me quite sad that some people don't care.To the person that said they should burn after reading about peaceful women shows that you are racist and prejudiced. For cruse.. I can't answer anymore questions. Why don't you allow anybody to email you?

What do you think about these facts about Muslim women in the U.S.?
lookn at this http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/rosnerPage.jhtmlhttp://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/759119.htmlIsrael’s Government has thrown its weight behind efforts by supporters to counter what it believes to be negative bias .The Foreign Ministry has ordered trainee diplomats to track websites and chatrooms so that networks of US and European groups with hundreds of thousands of Jewish activists can place supportive messages. In the past week nearly 5,000 members of the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS) have downloaded special “megaphone” software that alerts them to anti-Israeli chatrooms or internet polls to enable them to post contrary viewpoints. A student team in Jerusalem combs the web in a host of different languages to flag the sites so that those who have signed up can influence an opinion survey or the course of a debate. Doron Barkat, 29, in Jerusalem, spends long nights trawling the web to try to swing the debate Israel’s way. “When I see internet polls for or against Israel I send out a mailing list to vote for Israel,” he said. “It can be that after 15 minutes there will be 400 votes for Israel. Israel’s Foreign Ministry must avoid direct involvement with the campaign but is in contact with international Jewish and evangelical Christian groups, distributing internet information packs. Amir Gissin, the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s public relations director, said: “The internet’s become a leading tool for news, shaping the world view of millions.that plus AIPAC efforts ---and the owners of our news media------it sound like deal done already---what do u think ??
